State-of-the-art high-pressure gas compressors and accessories

At this year’s Gastech (Houston, Texas, 17-19 September 2019, stand number E60 German Pavilion), Sauer Compressors will exhibit their extensive range of compressor solutions for virtually any gas. Ranging from oil-lubricated high-pressure compressors to oil-free and hermetically gas-tight machines, Sauer provides a portfolio for most gas applications. In addition, a rich selection of accessories tops the high-pressure expert’s range of solutions off.
Sauer Compressors will present their versatile portfolio for various fields of application at this year’s Gastech. While the SAUER line comprises oil-lubricated high-pressure piston compressors, the HAUG line offers special oil-free and hermetically gas-tight piston compressors. Both lines cover solutions for air and gas applications. This includes noble gases such as helium, argon or neon and process gases such as sulphur hexafluoride, synthetic gases or gas mixtures as well as energy carriers such as hydrogen or methane. In combination with a large portfolio of high-pressure accessories, the Germany-based company is able to provide turnkey solutions that are perfectly tailored to the customers’ needs. With an experience of nearly 90 years in compressor development and manufacturing, Sauer Compressors is nowadays world-leading the field of high-pressure compressors that achieve final pressures of up to 500 barg.
Contributing to clean energy
At Sauer Compressors, a dedicated Clean Energy Solution unit specialises on compressor solutions for alternative fuels such as Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), bio-methane and hydrogen. These solutions contribute to the energy transition by fulfilling the high demands in this field like explosion protection. As a highlight of the stand at the trade fair, Sauer will exhibit a Sauer Hurricane CNG compressor. This compressor offers a final pressure of up to 300 barg and is the perfect solution for all kinds of refuelling stations and medium to large fleets. With its air-cooled design, it works extremely cost-effectively and reliably.
Expert for oil-free and gas-tight compressors
Another highlight of the Sauer Compressors booth will be a HAUG.Neptune compressor. This series can be used for the compression of any gas with a final pressure of up to 100 barg. It works oil-free and uses an innovative magnet coupling that allows for hermetic gas-tightness. The air-cooled compressor is built very robustly and works highly reliably. With its compact and foundation-free installation, it can be used with ease in most spaces. For explosive atmospheres, the compressor is available as an explosion-proof version meeting the latest ATEX and IECEx requirements. Due to its high technical standard and its versatile functionality, the HAUG.Neptune series is used in many fields of application including the chemical industry, the pharmaceutical sector and sciences as well as the food and beverage industries.
